Pattern Imprinted Concrete
Pattern Imprinted Concrete has become one of the most popular surfaces for driveway & patios, when you look at the quality of the finish, the fact that it is impervious to all of the fallbacks of other paving, it is easy to see why. Winning awards along the way, Creative Driveways have a variety of colours and patterns to suit you individual style and turn your driveway or patio into a work of art.
Virtually maintenance free, here are some of the other advantages:

Job Schedule
Stage One
To excavate existing surface to 200 - 250mm below finished level, installing a sub-base to a minimum depth of 100mm and any necessary drainage required.
Stage Two
To install pre-mixed reinforced concrete to finished level, minimum depth of 100mm, colouring the concrete with powdered pigments, imprinting the pattern with rubber moulds, chosen by the customer to meet the individual's requirements.
Stage Three
To cut expansion/contraction joints in the concrete where necessary and pressure wash excess pigment from the concrete surface.
Stage Four
To apply a layer of sealant to the washed concrete surface when suitably dry, protecting the installation from colour wear and spillages.

Re-sealing Pattern Imprinted Concrete
An installation which has been laid for some time deteriorates and becomes vulnerable to fading and staining. Creative Driveways provide a professional cleaning and re-sealing service, using a high pressure wash and re-applying a good quality sealer. This aids the restoration of the concrete back to its original glory. If you have block paving which has surrendered to weed or moss infestation, Creative Driveways can also clean, re-sand and seal your block paving. Re-sealing any installation, PIC or block paving, protects your original investment and will once again leave it looking as good as new.
Block Paving
An additional service provided by Creative Driveways, available in a variety of colours, installed to individualised patterns. Our attention to detail has resulted in commercial contracts with Abingdon Town Council in conjunction with the MG Car Club to produce the MG logo in block paving.
Stage One
To excavate existing surface to 200 - 250mm below finished level, installing a sub-base to a minimum depth of 100mm and any necessary drainage required.
Stage Two
Cement in edging blocks to desired shape to ensure no movement once the installation is completed. Lay weed barrier and then a sand base, compacted and screeded.
Stage Three
Install 60mm block paving to the customer specification. We prefer to use this specification of block paving for a driveway as they are stronger under pressure from car traffic and parking. Most reputable companies will use this size of block.
Stage Four
Spread kiln dried sand over whole installation, sweeping to ensure good coverage. Compact completed installation. If required, apply a layer of sealant, protecting the installation from colour wear and spillages if specified by customer.
